* new program is announced

The European Union Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) program provides funds to coordinate nationally-funded research on a European level, with a view to building a European Research Area and increasing the mobility of researchers across Europe. COST action TD1102 entitled as Photosynthetic proteins for technological applications: biosensors and biochips (PHOTOTECH) began in November 2011 and will run until November 2015. The PHOTOTECH Action is aimed at European scientists that work towards the design and production of biosensors based on immobilised photosynthetic proteins.

For more information, please visit the TD1102 COST Action website or http://www.phototech.eu/, http://www.cost.eu/.

Within the framework of TD1102 Action, the training school on “Phototech for Biosensors and Energy” will be held from 21 to 25 October 2013 at Vouliagmeni, Athens, Greece.

MSc and PhD students could attend the event and are also welcome to submit an abstract for selected oral presentations.
